I am a recent PhD graduate of the Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience/Psychology program Michigan State University Psychology. I work with Dr. Karl Healey in the Computational Basis of Cognitive Control (CBCC) Lab. 

I am passionate about sharing the fascinating world of psychology with students in a way that supports their development as critical thinkers and researchers and studying the human mind using the best tools available to us (including experimental, neuroscientific and computational methods).

My research is primarily focused on episodic memory and how we organize our memories based on different kinds of associations. In particular, my recent work has focused on how connections between our memories are influenced by both automatic mechanisms and controlled strategies. I am interested in better understanding the human memory system using a combination of behavioral measures, neural recordings, and computational models.
